Wanted to enter one more card into the current
challenge at "If You Give a Crafter
a Cookie" that features superheroes. TLC Creations provided a wonderful
inspiration digi upon which I could build a card… and this wonderful Nurse
emblem is FREE. You can find it HERE. The inside heartbeat image and
stethoscope are both freebies from LoveSVG. [I signed up for their
newsletter and get notices of freebies on a regular basis. Not sure if this is
still available, but you can search HERE.]
The inside sentiment is computer generated. Am entering this into several challenges including Bugaboo "Fairy Tale/Fantasy." [I think that superheroes fall into the fantasy realm. And, since my mom was a nurse, as are two of my sister-in-laws, I think that some of the work they do could qualify as supernatural. They truly are amazing people.]

My final card for this post was
made with one of the first wood mounted rubber stamps that I purchased back in
the mid 90's. I loved the simplicity of this Baby Jesus image and both
sentiments from Azadi Earles, especially when combined with this, also very old,
rubber stamp of the heart-shaped world. [Sadly, I can't tell you who made this
image as I pulled it from the wood long ago. It makes a much better impression
on my MISTI than I ever got when it was wood mounted. for this card, I inked the stamp with green and used light blue paper as my base. A little grey marker to add some shading and a bit of foam tape made the finished image really pop.] I colored the image with
Tombow watercolor markers and added a bit of sparkle with Spectrum Noir Sparkle Glitter Brush Markers,
Metallics.

ReplyDeleteAll of your cards are beautiful! I love the fishing bear, that glitter in the water gives it movement! The sentiment is great too! I also love your Christmas card with the Baby Jesus on top of the heart shaped world! Thanks for sharing with us at 2 Crafty Critter Crazies Challenges!
