For my card, I used a wonderful image from the
"Keep Calm and Color-
Tranquil Trees Coloring Book" that is available for purchase HERE. [I'd signed up for a
weekly newsletter a while ago from Dover Publications and have appreciated that
is offers links to a half dozen coloring books and activity books, each
offering 4-5 pages that are available for a short time as free downloads. I
accessed this freebie HERE. [If it is not available to you as a
download, sign up for the sampler newsletter to start
getting your own treasures.] I colored the butterflies with Spectrum Noir
markers and Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen. The
sentiment on the front of the card is from We Are 3 digital sentiment set named Dreams. [You
can find it HERE for just $1.50.] The inside
sentiment is from a digital set from Imagine That named "Airplanes." You
can find it HERE.
Am entering this into a few challenges including Outlaws
Saturday Challenge Songs and Rhymes "Saturday In the Park" [there are
lots of trees, and sometimes lots of butterflies in most parks.]

My final entry for the WeCraftCards Crop hosted
its annual June Crop is for Friday's Challenge named "Lion King." The
card needed to include an African Animal, and I used a wonderful image from Di's
Digital Images named Animal Tower that features TWO of them. You can find the
digi HERE. I colored the digi with Spectrum Noir markers and Sakura
Gelly Roll white gel pen. The sentiment on the inside of the card is from We Are 3 digital sentiment
set named Harvest. [You can find it HERE for just $1.50.] The sentiment on the
front of the card is a freebie from Desert Diva. You can find it HERE.

I made my
final card for this post for the current Butterfly Challenge named Letter G for Gate Fold. I
upcycled an old wedding card [and by old, I mean from the 1970s. I worked at a
card shop during high school and started collecting cards way back then. Most
cost 25- 35 cents so I built up a nice collection. I found a box of these gems
recently in a box when cleaning a closet… and just had to use a few of them.
This is the first one that I upcycled.]
I added a few butterflies in
"Granny Smith Green" [from the Butterfly tree that I used on the
other card in this post] to meet one of the color requirements for the
Butterfly Challenge. I also met the theme requirement by adding butterflies AND
I made a gate fold card. The
sentiments on the front and inside of the card are from a We Are 3 digital
sentiment set named Dreams. [You can find it HERE for just $1.50.]
