Fall Crop

Another item that I made for the Fall Crop being held at wecraftcards Forum. The challenge that required developing two tags that "popped" (had an item or two that are raised). Here is my second tag for that challenge. Loved using a few of the images from the Bugaboo Reindeer Blocks digi. The center block is raised, as is his red honker!

One of the other challenges in the Fall crop was to develop a card that depicts a holiday tradition. The one that immediately popped to mind was holiday baking. My mom didn't enjoy making meals (with six kids and a very limited budget, we often had tuna casserole, goulash, or pancakes for meal) but she LOVED baking!
Her favorites were pies, cookies, and cupcakes with lots of sprinkles. So, at Thanksgiving and Christmas, our house was a fragrant, and tasty, delight! Mom also had a very generous nature. So we always would take plates of baked treats to friends and neighbors. I discovered that I only had gingerbread cookie stamps, and I don't ever remember making those. So, looked at other options. Ended up finding a free clip art to use as background (freepik.com/free-vector/hand-drawn-collection-of-kitchen-tools_824046.htm) and attached some fun items from my scrapbooking stash. Mom would've loved it!
(Oh, and we did always leave a plate of cookies out for... you know... SantaDad!)

Another card for the Simon Says Thinking of You challenge. This time I used a stamped image from a past swap. I think the flower is from SU. Also dug into my stash for snippets of paper, lace and more. Oh, and the brown patterned cardstock behind the flower is from the inside of a tea box. Yay upcycling!

This cute ghost is the current freebie at Bugaboo Stamps. Once again, I printed the ghost off on vellum. Love that look! Entering it into Bugaboos current challenge, plus the Halloween Challenge at Victorine Stamps.
