Friday Fun Continues

Making a final card for the current Sketch Saturday. I used to labor over layout, and really appreciate how sketches really simplify the process. For this card, I used lots of paper scraps, a bit of ribbon, a silver charm, and a wonderful sentiment stamped with white ink/embossing powder on black paper for a chalkboard effect. Note- the sentiment is a rubber stamp that I pulled from the wood mount after I got my MISTI because it was hard to get a good impression. I think it might be an Embossing Arts or All Night Media stamp.

Another card to enter into Double D's Mood Board Challenge that requires the creation to include wheels and also the current Anything Goes Challenge at Little Scraps of Heaven [LSOH.] I used the LSOH image named "Loads of Love" but replaced the hearts with pumpkins that I cut from background paper and shaded/highlighted with markers and gel pens. [You can find the digi set here-] I created the background using an old wood mount leaf stamp from Embossing Arts using an ink resist technique with pigment inks and clear embossing powder. I stamped a few extra leaves on scrap paper, fussy-cut them and attached them to the inside sentiment, which is a freebie [from] The sentiment on the front of the card is from a Beccy's Place digi set named "True Beauty."
