Stars and Snowflakes

Kit & Clowder recently offered a dozen different give-aways on FB. I loved getting a new, and adorable, digi from Di’s Digi Stamps named “Winter Night” and just had to create a card with it. I made a variation of a pop-up front step panel card, using the instructions HERE but just following the first seven steps. I love the results! The sentiment on the inside is from a favorite set from Beccy’s Place named “The Nativity.” I cut the star from the digi and added a few layers of sparkly paper behind it then “hung” it in the sky on a slip of acetate. The other stars are stamped with a mini punch from Studio G. (Allows me to enter the current Double D's challenge!)

Supplies:
·    Digi Image- Di’s Digi prize via Kit & Clowder
·    Front and inside sentiment- Beccy’s Place (The Nativity)
·    Colored with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen
·    Assorted background paper, scrap of acetate, silver glitter paper, mini-star punch and white enamel dot from my stash

Many years ago a friend sent me a card that held this wonderful sentiment. I’ve always wanted to use it on a card… and this is that card! For the background I used a vintage Embossing Arts wood mount stamp with an old Kaleidacolor Raised Rainbow Dye Inkpad named Birthstone and sponged around the edges with an old stencil (company unknown) Added some bling with a large sparkly snowflake upcycled from an old card and some sparkly stickers.

Supplies:
·    Trees- Embossing Arts Stamp (Retires)
·    Sentiments- Computer Generated
·    Birthstone Kaleidacolor Raised Rainbow Dye Inkpad- no longer available
·    Stickers and upcycled snowflake from my stash
