Winter Friends

My first card features a sweet scene created on a slimline card with a handful of paper scraps and a template from papercrafts mag that you can find HERE. I added texture with scraps of string, twine and thin strips of black leather (cut from an old purse), several brads, white furry fabric, a small pompom and handful of mini-wooden clothespins. The sentiment is a vintage stamp from Azadi Earles.

My DT card for this week's QKR Stampede Challenge features the QKR Stamp image- Best Friends Digital Stamp(Q-digi23502) that just makes me happy! The layout is from Bugaboo’s current Stella’s Sketch (flipped upside down.) I love the rich color tones in the background paper and ribbons. So pretty! The snowflakes are made with two Martha Stewart Punches stars are stamped with a mini punch from Studio G. The sentiments are both freebies! Am entering this card into several challenges including Scribbles Designs (one of my favorite images to use on Christmas cards is snowmen) and Simon Says Something New challenge since I just added this adorable digi to my collection a few weeks ago.
