The final card for the Annual Bugaboo Event is for the  card is for the Friday Photo Challenge. The colorful balloons are made with scraps of several plastic document folders. They come in a pack of assorted colors and can be found in the office supply section of most stores. I really like using them on my cards because they're often cheaper than colored vellum and are more translucent.  You can write on them with a fine-line permanent marker [which I used to trace the balloons. Sometimes I trim the marker lines when cutting them out. This time I left the outline to help the balloons stand out. The plastic is easy to fussy-cut with a nice, sharp pair of scissors]. Am entering this card into several challenges including Path of Positivity Challenge (one of my character traits is that I enjoy laughing… and am blessed to share my life with a hubby whose sense of humor gets better every year we spend together.  After 42 years, he is nearing perfection… and I’m getting funnier with time, too!), Outlawz Color Challenge (blue plus purple and peach)  and Power Poppy (celebrating birthdays with friends and family members always include laughter and amazing home-baked treats!)

My final card for this posting was made to send to a dear family friend whose son recently passed away. Even though he was 57, I can only imagine his mom’s grief. So, am hoping this card lets her know that I’m remembering her family in my prayers.  This month’s Sketch N Scrap template provided a perfect foundation for the card, and the scripture verse from Imagine That is perfect since this sweet 88-year lady has a very strong Christian faith. I know that she'll also appreciate that I added a butterfly to symbolize New Life. The color scheme of the card was chosen to make the butterfly stand out from a low-key monochromatic background.
Supplies:
·    Front  Sentiment- Imagine That digi set (Matthew 5:4 Floral)
·    Inside  Sentiment- - Imagine That (Sentimental Thoughts)
·    Cuttlebug Embossing Folder- Swiss Dots
·    Assorted background papers- From my stash
·    Butterfly photo- upcycled from a magazine (with body fussy-cut from a scrap of black paper and antennae added with an ultra-fine black Sharpie.)
