Squares, Circles And Leaves

I was invited to be a guest DT for the Monday Greetings Challenge at Outlawz during March. Hetty Clare is the sponsor this month, and this is the first of three images that I’ll be sharing during the month. For this card, I used a sweet digi named “For You” to create a card to match the current theme of Square Cards.

Supplies:
·    Digi- Hetty Clair (For You Digi Stamp)
·    Front  sentiment “Happy Birthday” tag from a Lili of the Valley set (Everyday Sentiment Tags)
·    Inside sentiment- Calico Studio set (retired)
·    Assorted background paper, purple vellum and scrap of ribbon from my stash
Entered into:
Word Art Wednesday Challenge- #430-431 Anything Goes
Cute Card Thursday- Challenge #624 Anything Goes
Polkadoodles Challenge-Week #11 Anything Goes
Crafty Hazelnut’s Patterned Paper Challenge- March

Trying to keep up with my goal to end the year with several dozen Christmas cards. I created this one with a sweet little guy from Di’s Digis, where the current challenge requires embellies. I drew, colored, then fussy-cut a few holly leaves, then embellished them with red sequins. A delicate doily adds texture to the background of the gatefold card.

Supplies:
·    Digi- Di’s Digital Stamps (Woolly Ted)
·    Inside sentiment- We Are 3 Christmas Sentiment (Wishing You)
·    Colored with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen
·    Assorted background papers, white doily, and red sequins from my stash

A Perfect Time to Craft 2020-Anything Goes- Challenge #3-2020

My final card for this posting features a dapper little elf who is busy creating pretty bubbles! It fits the requirements of several challenges including The Paper Shelter (Circle It), Crafty Catz (Boys and their toys- or perhaps and elf and his bubble wand?), Outlawz Monday Greetings (Square Cards) and Twisted Thursday (Make up your own Holiday card- this card is dedicated to “Celebrating Creativity!”) The background paper is something I created back in the 90s with black paper, silver spray paint, and a dishpan full of warm water. It was a messy process, but the results are striking. You spray the paint onto the water, drop the paper into it- face down- then gently lift and spread out to dry. I discovered a few dozen sheets in both silver and gold when cleaning my garage last weekend. What a fun find!

Supplies:
·    Digi- The Paper Shelter (Magic Bubbles)
·    Front sentiment “Imagine”- Making Memories (metal tags)
·    Inside sentiment- mudmaven (Creativity is Intelligence)
·    Colored with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen
·    Assorted background papers, swirled vellum and silver photo corners from my stash
