I recently won a few digis from Ching Chou Kuik and was drawn to this wonderful butterfly image mainly because I wanted to use it for a Butterfly Challenge. It works beautifully for the current challenge with the U-fold card. Mrs. A provides an excellent tutorial to this fold HERE. I met all the requirements for the current challenge including three colors (Unbleached silk/cream background paper, Umber/dark brown branches, Ultra pink-on butterflies wings) and three themes (Used a circle die for the black frame, flower patterned paper in several colores and a Butterfly!) The wonderful sentiment is a freebie from Desert Diva. This card will soon be mailed to my 96- year-old MIL. She recently was moved into a dementia care unit and now longer recognizes us, but always enjoys getting mail… and especially my cards.

Supplies:
·    Digi- Ching Chou Kuik  (Butterfly and Ladybug)
·    Front Sentiment- Desert Diva Freebie (Celebrate the Hope)
·    Colored with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen
·    Assorted background papers from my stash

My final card was created for the Outlawz Sunday Challenge which features a song or rhyme.  This challenge is to create a card the reflects the song Rose Garden by country singer Lynn Anderson.  This was one of my mom’s favorite songs… maybe because her name was Rose it held special meaning to her. Whenever I make a card with roses I think of her, so this one holds a handful of beautiful pink blooms! (Note- I messed up when masking the roses… so ended up fussy-cutting and layering which looks just fine.)
Supplies:
·    Rose images- Posh Impressions (company is no longer in business)
·    Colored with ink pads from my stash
·    Front Sentiment- Printworks Stamps (stamp is no longer available)
·    Victorian Postcard from my stash (Used as a stencil)
