Special Sentiment

It’s Friday, so time for another challenge at QKR Stampede!  Stop by the challenge, which is always “Anything Goes” and several prizes are awarded. Maybe you’ll be inspired to enter a card or two yourself? My DT card features a wonderful sentiment from Eureka Stamps.  I’m making a gift packet of cards for a dear friend and this will be included. I love the warm feelings it conveys.  I’m entering this card into several challenges including Do-Al[l] Kreatives (For this unusual challenge, two DT members each provided a prompt and we must use both in our design. The prompts were Feminine+ Monochromatic. My card is a simple monochromatic with greys and neutrals (B&W) plus the flowers help provide a feminine tone.)
Supplies:
·    Sentiment- Eureka Digital Stamp (YouLovingWay)
·    Coordinated background papers, vellum, silver photo corners and a ribbon scrap from my stash
·    The silver paper behind the sentiment is an upcycled coffee liner.

Path of Positivity Challenge- Challenge #77 (Optional Twist- Adoration)

For this card I made a variation of a pop-up front step panel card, using the instructions HERE but just following the first seven steps. I then attached the stamped image, that I had colored then fussy-cut. The sweet lamb with flower basket stamp is one of the first I ever purchased back in the late 90’s. At that time the company, Azadi Earles, was going out of business and I purchased several of them. I don’t use them very often these days as I usually use digis, but I have always appreciated that the AE wood-mount stamps always provide nice, clear impressions like this one. The sentiment is another wood mount stamp from Printworks Stamps.
Supplies:
·    Lamb Image- Azadi Earles Rubber Stamps (Company no longer in business)
·    Front Sentiment- Printworks Rubber Stamps “Easter Blessings to You” (No longer available)
·    Colored with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen
·    Assorted background papers from my stash
·    Instructions for pop-up front card found HERE

A Perfect Time to Craft 2020-Anything Goes- Challenge #2-2020

While I had my Azadi Earles wood mounts out, I stamped another lamb image, this one swathed in warm winter clothes. I decided to make a Christmas card using a flap fold card as it’s base (the instructions are HERE.) I used sentiment stamps from an unknown company (I found the unmounted rubber stamps at our local Goodwill) and a Martha Stewart border punch to embellish the card.
Supplies:
·    Lamb Image- Azadi Earles Rubber Stamps (Company no longer in business)
·    Front and Inside Sentiments- unmounted rubber stamps from an unknown company
·    Instructions for flap-fold card found HERE
·    Colored with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen
·    Assorted background paper, ribbon and Merry Christmas sticker from my stash
·    Martha Stewart Punch- Swirling Lace Punch Set (Amazon)
