One of my favorite challenges is the Butterfly Challenge, where we learn new folds/techniques and can also win prizes! The current challenge is S for Step Block. This was a new fold for me, but there was not just one but TWO tutorials I was able to create one. (That said, I somehow messed up on the measurement instructions, so my blocks are on the opposite side of the card. But… that oops allowed for better placement of my digi… so it’s all good!) I used a wonderful digi from artist Ching-Chou Kuik named Lantern Light as the focal point. My card includes two of the colors (Sage Green and Salmon) and one of the themes (butterfly.) Am entering this card into several other challenges including Power Poppy (was fun to create a Valentine’s card with no heart/s!)
Supplies:
· Digi- Ching Chou Kuik (Lantern Light)
· Clear stamp set and inside sentiment- Art Impressions (Crazy Cat Lady)
· Sentiments- Computer Generated
· Colored with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers, Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen and gold gel pen
· Background paper from my stash

The current challenge at Art Impressions is to create something that can be used for everyday gift giving. I immediately knew I would use a sweet zebra stamp that was recently gifted to me by a friend to make a tag for a zebra-striped gift pouch. I am going to fill the bag with chocolates… to match the computer-generated sentiment. (But I will buy the chocolate right before I need it. Otherwise… well… let’s just say it won’t make it past my quality control checks!) Also, I'm entering this into several challenges, most are self-explanatory due to their titles... except Bugaboo's "For a child." I'm thinking that a child of any age would love this sweet little zebra, and the chocolates that will soon fill the striped pouch!
Supplies:
· Zebra Image- Art Impressions Clear Stamp (Freebie stamp, gift from a friend)
· Colored with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen
· Sentiment- Computer Generated
· A scrap of ribbon and Assorted papers from my stash
· Zebra striped pouch- upcycled, contained sunglasses when purchased years ago

My final card for this post is a CAS card created for the wecraftcards Forum challenge, Sweet & Simple. The requirement was that we could only use red and white on our cards. I used punches and a die to create my card.
· Love Die- Stampin’ Up set (Retired)
· Heart Punches- Three sizes from my stash
· Assorted background papers and a strip of paper ribbon from my stash
