For
the wedding card, I stamped the grapes and leaves with green and wine colored
ink on tan parchment cardstock. The explosion insert was made with parchment
stationary paper, using a tutorial that I found on Pinterest (there are many
options. I used THIS ONE, but since I used a typical A2 sized
card instead of a square card, I changed the size of the explosion insert to
4x4.) I had fun using a humorous sentiment on the front of the card that is
sure to cause the young couple that will be receiving it to laugh out loud.
(They both have lots of “toys”- craft supplies, snowmobiles, etc.!) The sentiment on the inside is an old
wood mount from a small South Dakota, family-run, company named Petersen Stamps
that is no longer in business.

that still work great!)

For the birthday card, I stamped the grapes
and leaves with green and purple ink on lavender mulberry paper. I used a Spotlight Technique,
following the tutorial, but used an oval template and added a black oval frame
to really set the oval apart. To give
the card a fun party feeling, I added a bit of bling with pretty sheer ribbon
that pops with sparkly silver dots. The front sentiment tag is from Lili of the
Valley and the inside sentiment is from Beccy’s Place.

·
