Time For Tea

Wanted to make one more card for the current challenge at Dis Digi named "Make It Girly." Decided to use a purse template that I've had in my scrapbook stash for a while to create a fun shape-card that features one of Di's cute new images named "Afternoon Bunny Tea." You can find it HEREColored the cute bunnies with Spectrum Noir markers and white gel pen, and added some pretty ribbon and a Happy Birthday sentiment [made with a die that was gifted to me by a stamping friend. Thanks, Darnell!] I tried something a little different with this diecut, taping it atop a layer of vellum to add a muted look. The sentiment on the inside of the card is from a Beccy's Place digi set named "Tea Time." You can find it HERE

Wanted to make another card for the current Outlawz Challenge named "Crash Your Stash" because it focuses on Mulberry Paper. I used to use this wonderful paper quite a bit, but had almost forgotten that I had a drawerful of the stuff until this challenge was launched a few weeks ago.  For this card, I stamped snowflakes on a cream colored tag with light brown ink. Then created a Christmas tree with scraps of green mulberry paper. Added a gold star brad and Wish sticker mounted atop a scrap of green gingham paper. A scrap of green wallpaper that I upcycled from a wallpaper book that I picked up at a home décor store many years ago, plus several strips of ribbon, white mulberry paper, and gold photo corners finished off the card. The inside sentiment is from a Beccy's Place digi set named "Baby Robin."  You can find it HERE

My final card for this post is a freebie from Scribbles Designs named, appropriately "Ice Cream." You can find it HERE. I colored the yummy image with Spectrum Noir markers and white gel pen. Made a gatefold card base, added dotted swiss paper accents and a scrap of dotted swiss ribbon. The sentiments on the front and inside of the card are both computer generated. So fun.

  3. Hey Kathy,

I just wanted to let you know that the second card that you said you added to the SD Gallery, didn't actually link up. The link up only had your original card from April 2nd and then the one with the Christmas Tree image that you linked by accident. No big deal though, I just came over to your blog and [hopefully] found the one you originally wanted to link up, the one with the ice cream cone. So, I just went ahead and added it myself using the same name and email addy that you linked the first one up with! I left a comment on the gallery page but wanted to come leave a comment here as well, just in case there was an alternate card from a different post entirely that you wanted linked up. If it was the ice cream card then all is well.

Thanks so much for adding this sweet card to our Gallery over at the Scribbles Designs Challenge Blog. Good luck in the draw.

Before I go I wanted to invite you to link up your Christmas card to The 12 Months of Christmas Link Up! You can link up to 10 Christmas cards per challenge. If you link up two cards during any given month you earn a free digital paper. Any card linked up has the chance to win a sponsored prize and if you follow the optional twist, you get a chance to win a mini pack of digi papers! Hope to see you there! Here is the link for the current challenge: http://12monthsofchristmaslinkup.blogspot.com/2019/04/challenge-52-opt-twistfairies.html
Keep in mind that twists are completely optional, we'd love you to link up any cards you make during the month.
