Last month I was honored when one of my cards was chosen as a "Customer Standout" by Imagine That Digi Stamps. The honor included two digi sets of my choice and the invitation to be a Guest DT this month to share cards made with them. Of course, I said, "YES!" This card features images and sentiments from the digi set named "Coffee Boy." You can find it HERE. The set includes images, sentiments and even papers for just $3. I had fun adding a bit of realism to the image on the inside of the card by adding a clear "dome lid" with a scrap of acetate. [I couldn't get it to show up in the closeup photo very well… but it IS there.]

Last weeks challenge at Little Scraps of Heaven [LSOH] was "Think Spring." I added a little grey Spectrum Noir to add some depth to the sweet Momma bear image, then added paper pieced heart and bow. [You can find the image, which is on sale for just $1, HERE.] The wonderful LOVE background paper is from an Imagine That digi set named "Llama Kisses." You can find it HERE. The inside sentiment is from a Beccy's Place digi set named "Keeping It Simple." You can find it HERE.

My last card on this post includes a wonderful two-sided Art Impressions image from a sweet set named "Mini Cat Spinner." I created this card for the current Art Impression challenge named "Outdoor Scene." In this case, the cute feline is enjoying the outdoor scene, especially the fact that it includes a few tantalizing butterflies. I used a die-cut window card as the base, sketched the window casing onto kraft paper and added some woodgrain with a tan Spectrum Noir marker. Used a few grey and pale pink Spectrum Noirs to color in the frisky kitten. The Spring scene is upcycled from an old calendar and the butterflies are fussy cut from scrapbook paper [I added details with a fine line Sharpie marker and white gel pen.] The sentiment on the front and "Happy Spring" on the back of the window front are both computer generated. The inside sentiment is from Eureka Stamps. You can find it HERE. Am entering the card into several challenges including a few with Spring themes, Outlawz Challenges- Monday Greetings and The Paper Shelter [Spring/Easter themes], Simon Says Wednesday Challenge and Craftycritters Challenge [Animal Antics], and the Butter Challenge [with two colors- Dartmouth Green and Dark Orange in the scene plus one theme, digi image.]
