Had fun coloring this sweet free digi from freedeariedollsdigistamps.blogspot.com. The sentiment is also a freebie from decossesdynamitedoodles.blogspot. So fun!

My entry in Beccy's Place Fifth Annual Month of Holiday Cards Challenge for the letter "M" is Mrs. Claus. This is another one of Beccy's free digis. I love all the details that Beccy added to this drawing that has an old-world feeling. From the beautiful long braid, the hanging lantern, the holly and pine branch, and the cute little teddy bear, the image is so fun to color!

I love to upcycle old cards. This time I cut the snowman in the round center from the front of the card to use as the base of a snow globe card. Cut a round piece of acetate, and used strips from the front of the card to create the snow globe base. Finished it off with a sentiment and a few sparkly snowflake stickers. What a fun way to give an old card new life!
This is the original card-

  2. Three more fabulous cards Kathy, you're doing a great job! I love the sweet little girl on your first card, she's a cutie. The sentiment works great with the image too.
Your colouring on Mrs. Claus is fantastic, you've really brought her to life. I like the piece of ribbon you tied around the bottom of the image panel with the tiny tag that says "wish". Nice touch.
I love seeing upcycled cards too Kathy, although I don't think I've ever made one. I always tie my Christmas cards together and put them away at the beginning of the new year. I never think to bring them out again for crafting... I really should add that to my list.
    Well done!
    Cheers,
    Beccy
