My entry in Beccy's Place Fifth Annual Month of Holiday Cards Challenge for the letter "O" features a digi from TLC that I cut into an Oval (createwithtlc.blogspot.com) The wonderful sentiment is from Beccy's digi set named "Baby Robin."

Had fun making this card with a free digi and matching sentiment from Whimsie Doodles called "Elves Watching." (You can download both filed at www.whimsiedoodles.com/christmas.html) I attached the little cutie to the front of a card that has a window cut out. Added green patterned paper, topped with wine vellum, behind the cutout. Used the same combination behind the sentiment.

Another card that I enjoyed making with a free digi. This one, a goose named Oswalda, is from Whimsy Stamps (whimsystamps.com/pages/digital-freebies) I enlarged and positioned this pretty lady off the side of the paper to meet the requirements of the current challenge at Power Poppy. (Being able to change the size and position of images is one of the things I really like about digis.)

ReplyDeleteLovely card collection Kathy, you're doing an awesome job keeping up with the challenge each day. The carollers on your first card are fabulous and you did a great job with the colouring. I really like the vintage vibe this stamp has. I also like the way you printed the sentiment on vellum. Looks great!
ReplyDeleteThe little elf on your second card is also coloured beautifully, I love her striped stockings. I also like the gold edging you added around the different sections of the card.
Oswalda is fabulous!! The expression on her face is priceless... love it!
Cheers,
Beccy
