My third entry into Beccy's Place Fifth Annual Month of Holiday Cards Challenge includes a Dove (for the letter D). Since I already had white mulberry paper on my craft table, I gold embossed the PSX Peace sentiment onto a scrap. Gold embossed and fussy cut an old SU wood mounted Dove stamp. Paired it with a Kraft cardstock base, torn along the edge. Simply elegant!

Isn't this lion digi from Bugaboo about the cutest thing ever? Was super easy to color with my Spectrum Noir markers. And the sentiment printed off on my computer is the final perfect touch.

I like mulberry paper too Kathy and remember the teddy bear craze from a few years back... I was terrible at those little critters, but boy, some people could work miracles with it.
ReplyDeleteI really like the Christmas tree tag you made using the scraps of green, you did a great job considering you were using up off cuts. I think the Peace card is beautiful. I really like the gorgeous "Peace" stamp and the pretty little dove, and the mulberry paper adds so much texture. Beautiful.
Cheers,
Beccy

ReplyDeleteOh!!! You just gave me several ideas!! I have TONS of mulberry paper and I have been using it quite a lot, but I never thought to do either something like your tree or just stamp on it and use it as the main layer! I'm so going to keep those ideas in the back of my mind. I just love the texture on your tree; genius!! Thanks for playing with CHNCC2.
