My hundredth post!

Bugaboo Stamps is celebrating a Christmas in July event with daily challenges! Here is my entry for the last day of the challenge, using the Friday free digi (they give one away weekly!) Was surprised how quickly this card went together. You can't see it very well in the photo, but his nose is covered with multifine red glitter and the jingle bells on his collar are colored with a sparkly silver gel pen. I wanted to add googly eyes on Rudolph as he appears to have some vision issues, or perhaps has been hitting the holiday cheer? But I don’t have any googly eyes that are the right size. So for now, I don’t think he is cleared for takeoff!

Art Impressions new challenge focuses on text. So… decided to give Eunice the chance to chatter a bit while sharing some birthday humor. She is sometimes so very snarky! The inside sentiment reads, "Cash for Clunkers. I qualify. How about you? PS- Consider yourself a classic." (Just re-read the challenge info and it says to use text instead of an image. I actually paired the text heavy card front with an overlapping image. Hope that works? If not... it was still fun to make. And will be REALLY fun to send!)

Many years ago I attended a stamping class in South Dakota and learned to make a beautiful hat box card. When you open the "lid", the sentiment slides up. There is a small amount of space below the sentiment to sign the card, and lots of blank space on the cards back to write more if desired. I tried to find a template to share on Pinterest and also via google. But there are none! Maybe I’ll need to develop the first tutorial on my blog to share the template and instructions. It is a show stopper!
