Dreams and Blessings

It's Wednesday! So time for another challenge at Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge Blog where challenges are always Anything Goes and prizes are awarded from one or more sponsors.  Stop by the blog to check it out! The sponsor this week is Little Blue Button  and my DT card features an image named Dreamcatcher.  I first colored it with several colors of Spectrum Noir markers and a Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen, then muted the bright colors by adding shading with a light grey marker. To add texture to the image, I printed off a few separate feathers, colored and fussy-cut them. I scored them on the backside with a stylus to add the texture of feathers, then layered them onto the base with foam tape.  The dreamcatcher was then layered onto several colors of cardstock, attached at the corners with a standard office staple. Am entering my card into several challenges, including the Path to Positivity (since it mentions PEACE… and a dreamcatcher is all about peace!)

Supplies:
·    Dreamcatcher digi- Little Blue Button  (Dreamcatcher #3)
·    Inside sentiment-  Eureka Stamps (Blessings)
·    Colored with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen

This month at Patties Creations you can download an adorable freebie named,
appropriately, “Bear with Present” for the current Challenge “Animals.” I printed off a copy
and used it as a template to create this sweet image with mulberry paper, two sizes of brads
and patterned Christmas paper. I kept the bow and ribbon from the digi, coloring and fussy
cutting it before attaching it to the gift.
