It’s Friday, so time for another challenge at QKR Stampede! Stop by the
challenge, which is always “Anything Goes” and several prizes are awarded.
Maybe you’ll be inspired to enter a card or two yourself? My DT card features a
lovely sentiment digi from Eureka Stamps named Happy Valentines Day. I created the background with paper scraps using
instructions that I found HERE. Another Eureka Stamps sentiment digi
decorates the inside of the card. Lastly, I added a touch of bling with silver
photo corners.

Challenge- Festive Fridays
Friday also means that I get to share DT cards for the Colour
Crazy Challenge. This
challenge is also “Anything Goes” but if adds requirement- the creation needs
to include coloring in “any colouring medium you like, onto any project
you like, and in any colours you like.” I’ve never outgrown my love for
coloring… which is why I so love making cards! The challenges last for 2 weeks but four DT teams take turns posting
weekly inspiration every Friday. Join us and you might win prizes from our
challenge sponsors!
Our sponsor this week is Polkadoodles and my card features a digi named named “Delivering Gifts by Sledge.” I colored the image with Spectrum Noir markers and a Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen. I colored then fussy-cut around the top half of the image. I used an upcycled calendar page for the background, covered with a layer of vellum behind the colored image. The “snowdrifts” were easily created with torn cardstock and the fluff on her cap and boots were added with Polar White Flower Soft. I’m entering this card into several challenges, including Outlawz Songs and Rhymes challenge, named Sleigh-Bells. I’m thinking that this cute sled has at least a few bells!
