Warm Wishes

I had fun creating a card that features stars for the Simon Says Monday Challenge especially because I love this wonderful image from The Paper Shelter named “Three Wishes.”

 

Supplies: 

·    Genie and Background Image - The Paper Shelter (Three Wishes digi set)

·    Inside  sentiment- Desert Diva (Happy Birthday to a Very Special Person)

·    Colored with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers, Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen

·    Sparkly stars -created with a scrapbooking template,  fussy-cut from glitter paper

We’ve been getting lots of snow this month… so this sweet image named “Ski Lift” from Cute as a Button makes me smile. I opted to leave the background image items white so that the beautiful skier really pops out on the card!

Last weeks challenge at the wecraftcards Forum was to create a small card. I had fun making a mini tri-fold card. The background scene is upcycled from an old greeting card, and the little Olaf is actually a cupcake topper with the toothpick cut off! Was fun to put him to "work."
