Bugaboo Trio

Although I’ve had a busy December, I was able to finish my last three cards for Bugaboo’s annual week of Christmas Challenges! The first, a gift bag for the Anything But a Card- Critter With Glitter challenge features a sweet feline all decked out for Christmas (available at Bugaboo for only $2!) I added bling to the card in two ways, Polar White Flower Soft mixed with ultra-fine glitter adds fluff to the Santa hat, and sparkly holly stickers decorate the sentiment.

Supplies:
·    Cat digi- Bugaboo (Christmas Cat)
·    Colored with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen
·    HoHoHo Sentiment was upcycled from a boxed Christmas Card
·    Polar white Flower Soft on hat mixed with ultra-fine glitter - (From my stash. Not sure where you can purchase this anymore. It is hard to find!)
·    Christmas Greenery Stickers- Hobby Lobby

The next item, a tag, was created for the Keep It Simple Challenge that requires the use of the current Bugaboo Friday Freebie, on a two-layer card with twine. I cut a few sections out on the gift on the digi so that the plaid background paper can show through and added more color with a scrap of ribbon and red&white twine.
Supplies:
·    Penguin Digi- Bugaboo (Poppie Christmas Present)
·    Colored with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen
·    Tiny sentiment was cut from scrapbook paper, the twine and ribbon are from my stash

My final card for this Bugaboo event was really fun to create. The Photo Challenge shows a cat and dog sneaking Santa’s cookies. I looked through my collection of Bugaboo digis and found this wonderful set of cats in block frames. The fun started when I begin thinking up sentiments to create a “feline mystery.” I needed a drawing of Christmas cookies to add to the storyline and thought I’d need to draw it myself… then found a freebie that was a perfect fit! It took a while to figure out how to fit everything on a card in the proper order, but a tri-fold worked. This is going to one of my staff that often shares stories about her naughty kitties. Bet she'll like it!
