myasperations 2-15-22

Since it’s the 15th of the month, I get to share a DT card for QKR Stampede. Stop by the challenge, which is always “Anything Goes” and several prizes are awarded. Maybe you’ll be inspired to enter a card or two yourself?
I love this sweet Eureka digi stamp image and sentiment. Was working on Valentine's cards and decided to use this wonderful sentiment for a “Thinking of You” type card for a cat-loving friend. I’m entering this card into several challenges including Passion for Markers “Favorite Colors”(I love burgundy, black, and silver).
Supplies:

·   Digi- Eureka Digital Stamp (Lovecats) Also available in unmounted or cling-mounted

·   Colored with Spectrum Noir Classique markers, Sakura Gelly Roll white pen

·   Inside Sentiment- Eureka Digital Stamp (Unforgettable) Also available in unmounted or cling-mounted

·   Patterned paper- Hobby Lobby

·   Gold photo corners made with scraps of silver metallic cardstock

·   All other items from my stash.

I signed up for the Gerda Steiner Designs newsletter a few years ago, and love learning about sales and special events plus enjoy the occasional freebies. (The newsletter sign up link is available HERE.) This is the most recent newsletter freebie, which was fun to create and send to my oldest brothers. Pat was in the Navy and was stationed in Antarctica where he enjoyed sporadic sightings of the native creatures, especially penguins. I left the inside of this card blank so that I could add some news from the Midwest. (Pat now lives in the Southern states and usually calls or texts to gloat about their temps whenever we are hit with a blizzard or frigid “Arctic Clipper” winds.)
Supplies:

·   Digi- Gerda Steiner Designs Free Digi for newsletter customers.

·   Colored with Spectrum Noir Classique markers and Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen

·   Patterned Paper and Sparkly Star Stickers- Hobby Lobby

·   Parchment and metallic silver cardstock from my stash.
