It’s the first of the month which means it’s time for a challenge at QKR Stampede which is always “Anything Goes” and several prizes are awarded. Stop by the challenge and maybe you’ll be inspired to enter a card or two yourself?

My DT card features an adorable bovine that was easy to color with just a few markers and a white gel pen. I cut the sentiment in half so be able to use it on both the front and inside of the card. The little heart on the cow's derriere inspired me to use heart patterned paper on my card. I even trimmed a few hearts from the papers to add a few extra heart embelllies. So fun!

Since it’s August, I’m also delighted to be able to share my DT card for the latest Sheepski Designs Challenge. This month’s theme is “Let’s Be Cute” and I made a fun card with two cute bunnies named Rocket and Rosie. I wanted to find a sentiment that might reflect the heart-to-heart conversation that the bunny friends appeared to be having.  When I found the wonderful (and sadly true for me!) sentiment, I knew that I just had to use it as my inside sentiment.   I created conversation bubbles with a “?” and an “!” on the front of the card to create some drama. Sadly, I don’t know the name of the unusual card fold, as it is from my scrap box. I don't remember making it, or my intention for using it… but I'm glad I didn't throw it away because it worked nicely for this card (and even reflects the confusion of lots of "open tabs!")
