Napping Cat

I had fun creating this card for an Outlawz challenge about cat naps! Used a sweet Knitty Kitty digi, my favorite Spectrum Noir markers and assorted items from my stash when making this card. Ahhh ZzzzzZzzzzz!
I'm entering this card into several other challenges include Outlawz Sketch (I did revised it a bit to fit horizontally on my card) and Simon Says Monday Frame It Challenge (the two critters are framed in red... and then again in the herringbone patterned paper, secured with photo corners.)

Supplies:
·   Digi- Knitty Kitty (Catnap)
·   Colored with Spectrum Noir Classique markers and Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen
·   Sparkly Heart Stickers- Hobby Lobby
·   Inside Sentiment- TLC Creations- Cats Understand (Freebie no longer available)
·   Assorted background papers and black rhinestones from my stash

A Perfect Time to Craft 2020-Anything Goes- Sept  Challenge #9-2020

This card  features an adorable cowboy image from Bugaboo, which I layered atop a sheet of tree patterned paper that I picked up at Hobby Lobby on Friday.
I'm entering this card into several challenges including Bugaboo’s BINGO (Diagonal from upper left- 3 layers, Bugaboo image, stitching, which can be seen in the close up photos); Outlawz Monday Challenge (Contrasting stitching); Path Of Positivity Challenge’s Family Ties (My hubby an I lived for several years in western South Dakota where cattle ranching is common. I loved seeing guys and gals around town in hats and boots. But they were the “real thing” as their hats were usually stained and misshapen, and their boots were always caked with… well… cow and bull poo! We also love the Longmire books and TV series, where Sheriff Walk Longmire often says “Boy Howdy!” It’s become a standard, albeit joking, exclamation at our house these days!); Scribbles Designs Challenge (what little cowboy wouldn’t love this card?) and Double D’s Challenge, Don’t Fence Me (I used scraps of embossed woodgrain to make this fence, adding “nails” with dots of silver gel pen.)

Supplies:
·   Digi- Bugaboo (Cowboy Fence)
·   Colored with Spectrum Noir Classique markers, Sakura Gelly Roll white & silver gel pens
·   Sentiments- Computer Generated
·   Assorted cardstock and patterned papers from my stash
·   Woodgrain Embossing Folder- Stampin’ Up (retired)

My final card for this posting is a Halloween card featuring a cute little witch and her friendly kitten. After printing off the digi  I used a scrapbook template and pencil to sketch the moon and add a few smaller circle craters. Added some shading to the craters with a light grey Spectrum Noir Classique marker, softening them with a blender pen. After coloring the digi, I added a bit of silver to the stars blasting from the end of her broom with a silver gel pen. I also printed off a separate set of  these stars to add to the inside sentiment. The wonderful starry background paper is part of a bundle of freebies from Polkadoodles (grab it now as it was first posted on the 4th of July and I don’t know how long it will be free!) The inside sentiment is a freebie from a website that offers a nice assortment of free images, which they change fairly often so you might also want to nab it now. However, I did just notice that Halloween is misspelled… or maybe the digi is just bewitched? Ha!
I’m entering this card into several challenges including The Paper Shelter (cute little pet cat), Cute Card Thursday and Spectrum Noir FB Challenge  (Halloween is an Autumn holiday and I used Spectrum Noir products to color the digis.)
