Mid-week craftiness!

It's Wednesday! So time for another challenge at Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge Blog where challenges are always Anything Goes and prizes are awarded from one or more sponsors.  Stop by the blog to check it out!
The sponsor this week is Lemon Shortbread and my DT card features a sweet digi named Halloween Mummy Trick or Treat.  I had fun coloring the cutie, adding several unusual embellishments including bright orange gauze, wispy vellum fog, and fall leaves fussy-cut from an old greeting card.  I added a bit of spooky Halloween fun by using an eerie forest background digi that is a freebie from Decosse’s Dynamite Doodles. The little mummy appropriately takes center stage on an easel card. So fun!

Supplies:
·   Digi- Lemon Shortbread (Halloween Mummy Trick or Treat)
·   Colored with Spectrum Noir Classique markers and Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen

·   Eerie Forest Patterned Paper- a freebie from DDDoodles can be found HERE
·   Easel card instructions can be found HERE

A Perfect Time to Craft 2020-Anything Goes- Sept  Challenge #9-2020
Since I’m a DT for this month's sponsor, Sheepski Designs, I’m entering just for fun!

I had so much fun creating this second card for the current Sisterhood of Crafters challenge that requires a sentiment be the focal point. The lettering on this sentiment is gorgeous and was fun to dress up a bit with a pink marker and white gel pen. And I LOVED getting to dress up the rest of the card with some things from my stash including the beautiful background paper and butterfly made with pink and light aqua teardrop rhinestones. The pretty butterfly’s body and antennae are fussy-cut from a scrap of black cardstock.
I’m entering this card into several other challenges including the Butterfly Challenge (one color- carnation pink, and two themes- butterfly and coloring pens-white gel pen), and the Outlawz Tuesday Color TicTacToe Challenge (diagonal from lower right- butterfly wings are translucent like waterdrops, winged critter, and background paper has some colors similar to the moonlit night image.)

Supplies:
·   Sentiment- “You are a Gem” A freebie from TLC digi set “Medley of Greetings 1” (retired)
·   Shaded with a light grey Spectrum Noir Classique marker and a Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen
·   Multi-colored and metallic golden wave patterned paper from Hobby Lobby
·   Assorted background papers and teardrop rhinestones from my stash

My final card for this post is a simple and cute shape card that I made with scraps of paper that resemble vintage quilt fabrics. My inspiration for the card was a cat pillow that I’d seen years ago. I sketched out an outline that would fit onto an A2 sized card, and after making a few adjustments, had a template. I used it to create the shape card, then positioned and attached patterned paper scraps, and trimmed the edges to fit the cat shape. When finished, I tied a sheer bow around the feline’s neck. I made two cards with assorted scraps and turned one into a Mother’s Day card with a computer-generated sentiment. I decorated the white envelope with a paw print stamp.

Supplies:
·   Shape card template provided by yours truly!
·   Paw Print wood-mount stamp from Stampin’ Up! (a long-retired set)
·   Clear stamp set and inside sentiment- Art Impressions (Crazy Cat Lady)
·   Inside sentiment- Computer Generated
·   Assorted scraps of patterned papers and sheer ribbon from my stash
