My final card this post features an adorable freebie
from Lemon Shortbread. The full digi is a pup sitting on a pillow. For this
card, I cropped the image and just printed the pup so I could perch him peeking
into the window. (This reminds me of our two pups who loved romping in the
backyard and then staring into the window to see if we were doing anything
like… um… eating while they were outside!)
I used a shadow box template but scored the front section and attached
it to a flat back, lined with an upcycled calendar page. After adhering the
back I trimmed the excess the added the sweet freebie sentiment. It’s hard to see in the photo, but I created ”wallpaper”
around the window with a Victorian-looking patterned paper. I planned to add a
lacy valance to the top of the window, but if blocked out most of the scene so
opted not to do that.
