Bright and Sweet Cards

This sweet image ladybug digi is from Little Scraps of Heaven (LSOH). Although I usually favor deep, rich color schemes, I used bright cards on this card to enter it into the current LSOH challenge. The layout follows the current Stella's Sketch at Bugaboo and the sentiment is a freebie from Paper Smooches (papersmoochesstamps.com).

Made another card for the Christmas Crafts All Year Round Challenge. The color scheme is challenging for me, as I don't often use hot/warm colors. For this card, I hand cut a snowflake to serve as a focal point on the background. Finished the card with a die cut tree, a punched star, a bit of bling, a bow, rectangles of star background paper, white and bright yellow cardstock on a red gatefold base.

I've had this scrapbook paper and a package of key charms in my stash for several years. Used a bit of fussy cutting, a strip of paper lace, vellum scrap, and patterned paper (that is actually the flipside of the Home Sweet Home paper) to create a card for my files until someone gets a new home! Am entering it into several challenges including Power Poppy's Inspired By Home since my home is decorated with this color palette and holds a few primitive style decorative items.
