From Princess to Poe

Love this sweet image from Tiddly Inks. Added a colorful background (upcycled from a tissue box), printed off a sentiment I found on Pinterest and accented with a few silver filigree photo mounting corners. The final touch was several rhinestones attached to the little cuties crown and skirt.

Am having fun using my new Lili of the Valley digis. In the digi the bunny is actually jumping over a bunch of daffodils. For this card, I printed the image onto Kraft cardstock, colored the little guy with colored pencils and touches of white gel pen. He is then fussy cut from the image, then added to a fall themed card. Doesn’t he look right at home?

Christmas is only a few months away! So... am starting to prep. Love this Santa image, stamped onto Kraft cardstock, embossed with fine line black powder, colored with Tombow markers and highlighted with a white colored pencil. Makes me long for a mug of pumpkin spice something or other!

I had picked up a package with black feathers in the discount bin a few weeks ago and have been waiting for inspiration to use them. When I found this digi from createwithtlc.blogspot.com I had my answer! Added a bit of lime green and teal on the beads and book binding, plus a few touches of silver and white gel pen to highlight the beads. (I also shaded them along the left side with one of my grey alcohol pens. This, plus the white highlights with the gel pen, makes them just pop off of the page!) To add a final touch of glimmer, I attached the feather to the card with a teal colored staple.  (If you look closely, you’ll see that the feather is molting a bit. Adds a bit more realism to the theme!)
