Week of May 21-27 (Wednesday)
Had the chance to create some cards focusing on furry and feathery friends this week.
For the first, I found a silhouette of a Scottie dog on Google. Traced and fussy-cut, and paired with a fun sentiment that I also found via Google. It makes me giggle!

My second card includes one of my favorite birds, from a digi set that I found at Beccy’s Place. Added a computer generated sentiment (the inside says, “Owl always be younger than you… and there is nothing you can do about it!”
Put the sweet little owl in a cut-out frame card so that I could enter it into the Poppy Power Challenge.

Just discovered a new blog that includes scripture-based (or inspirational) challenges. Loved having the chance to use another one of the free digi coloring sheets from http://tammytutterow.com. Printed it on vellum and mounted on scrapbook paper. Love the crisp look.

Wonderful cards Kathy, you've done a great job as always. The little Scottie dog is so cute and the tartan background paper is a perfect accompaniment... I love the sentiment too. I really like the rainbow coloured background on the second card, and I got quite a chuckle from the sentiment you added on the inside. Your third card is also fabulous, the printing on the vellum looks wonderful. Great job!

Thanks, Beccy. I made the tartan plaid background since I didn't have any paper that would work. Markers, a ruler and a white gel pen did the trick.! (And thanks for the compliment!)
DeleteBeautiful cards!! Thanks for playing along with the Power and Spark Challenge this month!
