Week of May 14-20 (Friday)
Had some fun with these challenges creating cards that span across a few seasons!
The first one includes an interior greeting, recessed in a circular "frame".

The next cards celebrate Spring. The first was to include a bit of sunshine in honor of May.
The second features a free digi from Beccy's place. (Plus, I used a lovely lace scrap that was in a basket of craft items that were among my mom's "treasures." I didn't put a greeting on this card since I don't know who is going to receive it yet. But... I'm thinking it will go to one of my sisters, who will appreciate the bit of Moms lace.)
And the third, with a few subdued blossoms, are colored with chalk on dark cardstock, for an embossing challenge that is to be CAS (clean and simple.) I love the bit of bling that the glittery embossing adds.

Beautiful golden embossing, really looks very showy. Thanks for playing at AAA Cards.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful collection of cards Kathy, you've done a brilliant job on them. I love that you have used the different seasons of the year for your overall theme. I like the way you added the little aperture in the centre of your first card, great way to showcase the sentiment. The second card is lovely and colourful and who could resist those cool shades? The lace on the third card is beautiful, it's a great way to used up a pretty scrap. The "thank you" stamp that you embossed is wonderful, and I like the little bit of colour you added. The "frosty" ground of your final card is a great wintery touch, and I really like the way you've added the holly around the frame.
ReplyDeleteWell done Kathy!
Cheers,
Beccy
