myasperations 11-5-21

It’s Friday and time for the Colour Crazy Challenge. This is an “Anything Goes” challenge but it adds a requirement; the creation needs to include coloring in “any colouring medium you like, onto any project you like, and in any colours you like.” I’ve never outgrown my love for coloring… which is why making cards is stress therapy for me!!
This week's sponsor is Hetty Clare and my DT card uses a wonderful digi named Birthday Chef with Candles.  I colored the happy chef. yummy cake gifts with Spectrum Noir Classique Markers and a Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen. To provide the card with a crisp, clean feeling, I kept my coloring to a minimum with lots of white, adding red accents plus black photo corners and a sentiment from We Are 3 to finish the card off with style.  The inside sentiment is a freebie from Gingers House.
Supplies:
·   Digi- Hetty Clare Digital Stamp (Birthday Chef with Candles)
·   Colored with Spectrum Noir Classique markers and Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen
·   Front Sentiment - We Are 3 Birthday Sentiments Digital set can be found HERE.
·   Inside Sentiment- Gingers House (Too Old for Snapchat)
·   Pioneer Black Photo corners- available from several sources
·   Cardstock, patterned paper, and other items from my stash.

I made a card for the last Butterfly Challenge in early September but didn’t get it entered on time. I really like the unique fold, named the “Slide and Lock Gatefold,” and the tutorial that Mrs. A. provided so decided to enter it in the current challenge as it includes one of the colors (Venetian/deep Red) and one of the themes (butterfly.)

Supplies:
·   Scene (upcycled calendar page) and butterfly (image upcycled from an old card with additional coloring added with Spectrum Noir and Sharpie fine-line black markers.

·   Slide and Lock Card Instructions located HERE

·   Front Sentiment – Freebie from Desert Diva (May All Your Dreams Come True)

·   Inside Sentiment- Sentiment tag from my scrapbook stash and tiny butterfly embellishments fussy-cut from patterned paper

·   All other items from my stash.

My final card for this posting is a cute little trickster from Polkadoodles. I had fun coloring the cutie, adding sentiments and several stamped and colorful fall leaves (double-embossed with clear powder to add sheen and texture.)
Supplies:
·   Digi- Polkdoodles Winnie- (Trick or Treat)

·   Colored with Spectrum Noir Classique markers and Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen
