Love You 2 Pizzas

For my DT card this week with Imagine That Digi Stamps I used a sweet image and sentiment from a  digi set named Love you 2 Pizzas. [You can find them HERE and it's now on sale for just $2]. Plus, designer/owner of Imagine That, Kris Breach, provides her DTs with a coupon code that allows any friends a discount on their next digi order. If you stop by the shop I know that you'll find lots of digis that you'll want to add to your collection.
I printed the pizzas on kraft brown cardstock and printed another copy of the pizzas, plus the sentiment, on white cardstock. Fussy cut the kraft images and cut just the pizza's from the white cardstock. Colored all of the images with Spectrum Noir markers and a Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen. Made an A2 sized gatefold card and attached a folded a triangular scrap of a checked napkin to each flap.  [Yes… an actual napkin from a package that I picked up at the dollar store. The digi set also includes checkered paper digi that would work perfectly. So fun.]  I traced a circle around the sentiment and layered it atop a scrap of kraft brown and a checkered napkin on the inside of the card. The finishing touch was to add a few of my favorite puffy heart stickers [from a pack I found at Walmart that contains 113 assorted puffy hearts for just 99 cents!]

For this colorful birthday card, I used an old Kaleidacolor Rainbow Ink pad to stamp the Hero Art sentiment. I then used assorted ink pads in matching colors to stamp the heart balloon image [with an old wood mount stamp from Stampendous.] When finished, I drew the strings and their little bows with an ultra-fine Sharpie permanent black marker. The inside sentiment is from a Beccy's Place digi set named "Just Desserts."

I wanted to make a card for the Outlawz Tuesday Challenge named TicTacToe and decided to make a card that fit the Bingo diagonal from the upper left: Kids Stuff, Button and Patterned Paper. Using a few clip art images of sock monkeys as my inspiration, I sketched the little guy onto scraps of two different colors of grey speckled cardstock, plus sketched the red mouth and heart. Cut the pieces out and set them aside. Punched two circles from scraps of black cardstock and drew the stitches with a white gel pen. Then put all the pieces together to create the cuddly sock monkey. Added red yarn hair and a wrist "bracelet" before attaching the little guy to a background with a pattern that would enhance but not overwhelm Mr. Sock Monkey. The inside sentiment is computer generated.

  6. A fabulous collection of cards Kathy, as always! I love the "2 Pizzas" sentiment... great play on words. I also love the way you've stamped the big bunch of heart balloons in multiple colours, what a great birthday card. Your sock monkey is adorable and you did a fabulous job of choosing the card stock. When I first looked at it I thought you'd used felt and was surprised to read it wasn't fabric. Wonderful!
    Cheers,
    Beccy
