Bad Hare Day

It's Wednesday! So time for another challenge at Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge Blog where challenges are always Anything Goes and prizes are awarded from one or more sponsors.  Stop by the blog to check it out! The sponsor this week is Sheepski Designs cute digi image named "Bad Hair Day." You can find it HERE. I colored the pair with Spectrum Noir markers and a Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen. Also used the white gel pen and a light pastel aqua marker to represent "swirls of hot air" to create the cute upsweep. The sentiments are computer-generated.

I made this bright  CAS card for the current Cute Card Thursday challenge named "Pink." It features a free sentiment from the Handmade by Paula blogsite that you can find HERE. I added some sparkle with a puffy heart sticker from my stash. Quick and simple.

I wanted to make one final card to enter into the Bugaboo Stamps current challenge titled "Inspired by your Favorite Movie." So, when I saw this wonderful set of King Arthur paper dolls I knew that I just had to make a Camelot wedding card. [I'd signed up for a weekly newsletter a while ago from  Dover Publications and have appreciated that is offers links to a half dozen coloring books and activity books, each offering 4-5 pages that are available for a short time as free downloads. This week the book several pages were available from a book named "King Arthur Paper Dolls" by Eileen Rudisill Miller.  Here is the LINK. If it is not available to you as a download, sign up for the sampler newsletter to start getting your own treasures.] I added additional shading and highlights to the pre-colored images, plus added gems on Arthurs crown and sword and pearls on Guinevere's bodice and a large "diamond" on her ring finger.  The sentiments are from a We Are 3 Digital Sentiment set named "Dreams."  You can find the set HERE for just $1.50.

  4. All of your cards are so very nicely made. I like the fun "Bad Hare day!" (I have a lot of those bad "hare" days! smile. The second card is PINK! My favorite color, so you know I like that card, and finally your Third card is very creative to use those images for your "theme" wedding card. I used to subcribe to Dover...I think I might check that out again. Thanks for all the inspiration.

  5. Wow!! You are rocking all these fun challenges. I LOVE the first card with the bad hare day!!! That bunny with the hair dryer just cracked me up!! The second card is simply lovely. I like how you used the pink in both the sentiment block as well as the card base. The third is so out of the box and cool. I LOVE how you created the whole thing!
