Totally Digis

Some of the first digi's I ever used were from Tiddly Inks. I love their cute, funny and often heartwarming images. This image, named "Wryn and her Dad" was a surprise gift that popped up in my email the first of April as a thank-you for placing an order in March. (Something new that they started and I love the surprise… and this adorable image!) For the current color challenge at Tiddly Inks I printed out this image, colored, fussy-cut and then perched the trio on a sand dune to watch a beautiful sunrise. (The beautiful scene is an upcycled calendar page. I cut the bottom part of the scene apart to create the sand dune, which I then attached with foam tape to add some depth. Added another stip of sand dune along the bottom left corner mainly because I love the spikey grass. So, I fussy cut the grass along that small strip so that it would add a bit of interest to the sentiment (you might not be able to see it, but the whispy grass spikes overlap the sentiment. (Oh and the sentiment is a freebie from www.winkwinkink.com )

Bugaboo Stamps is another one of my go-to digi companies and this Unicorn image is one of my favs from them. Perched the cutie on the circle that contains beautiful shades of blue and aqua ocean waves, to fit into the current Bug's Color Challenge.  I printed the Unicorns mane and tail on a sheet of swirly iridescent stationary before fussy cutting and attaching them to the Uni. I really like the way that the rainbow created with Tombow markers shimmers (tried to show that in the close-up but would only show up with the flash… which also obliterates some of the mane. So… you'll have to trust me that it is beautiful!
The sentiments are from uselesstrinkets.wordpress.com/freebies however I couldn’t get the freebies to print off clearly, so I retyped them in the font Kristin ITC (just wanted to make sure I credit the source for the fun sayings!)

I just re-discovered another digi company that has so many great images… and fun freebies. It's named Paper Smooches. I fell in love with this adorable freebie and decided that I had to make a card for their current color challenge (I used the two colors, sunscreen and orange red). The sentiment is handwritten. And I added little fussy cut leaves to provide some color and texture. So fun!

This little cookie mouse freebie from Gerda Steiner is so cute. I paired it with sentiments from Tiddy Inks digi set "Cookie Bugg and Extras." Am entering the card into Gerda Steiners monthly "Share your Designs Challenge" plus other challenges require patterned paper, a Sketch, spots or dots and food or drink. (I did tilt the tag in the opposite direction of the sketch in order to tuck the first part of the sentiment under his cute ear. Hmmm,  I just used the words cute and mouse in the same sentence. That is something I never thought I'd do!)
