Bingo, Butterflies, Balloons and a Bear

This weeks challenge at Bugaboo is BINGO! My card features column one on the BINGO card- Ribbon, Distress (brown sponging along the edges of B&W background paper) and Lace (beige doily). The coffee sentiment/digi fis a freebie from  The red & white paper is actually cut from a patterned napkin. I added another little punch of red by punching a heart from a scrap of red paper, plus added a bit of highlighting to the coffee cup image with a white gel pen. Easy Peasy!

They were copyrighted 1935, plus I added a strip of vintage looking lace,) 6) Vine leaves (on the tag) and Butterfly (times two!) I printed free colored butterfly digis onto vellum and love how they look so real!  (You can find them here And the wonderful sentiment is also a free digi that you can find here-

The current Simon Says Monday challenge is titled "Transport It."  I opted for an unusual form of transportation, namely, via balloons! In order to also enter the card into the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge, "Bright and Beautiful" I created the background by making a mask from a couple post-it notes and attaching them to a glossy card base. I then inked a brayer brush (a tool I haven't used for a while) with a Kaleidacolor Pad (another tool that has been gathering dust) and rolled it repeatedly across the glossy card base. Removing the masks, I was able to stamp the Printworks sentiment, inked with the Kaleidacolor Ink Pad.  I stamped the cute little bear and balloons from an old Stampin' Up set onto paper scraps, colored, fussy-cut and attached them to the card. The final touch was to punch and attach two red hearts from scrap paper.
