A Trio of Cards

Little Scraps of Heaven currently is hosting a Sketch challenge.  One of my sister-in-laws was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, so I decided to use some of the patterned paper that I purchased a few months ago to make her a card. The sweet image is a freebie named "Think Pink" (you can find it here- lshdesigns.blogspot.com/2011/10/free-think-pink-digi-stamp.html) I fussy-cut the butterflies from a scrap of scrapbook paper. The sentiment is one that I've had in my files for years. Developed it on my laptop in an elegant font, and printed it off for use on this card. Did some web research and couldn't find the author. But do want to note that I am not the author and I'll keep looking.

Found this cute bat image on an interesting site named Useless Trinkets (uselesstrinkets.wordpress.com/freebies/)  Ha, never thought I used those two words together "cute" and "bat"! The inside greeting is a freebie from the same sight. The background was created with a free Eek! image from TLC Creations (createwithtlc.blogspot.com)  The penny-slider card was super easy to make using instructions I found here newtonsnookblog.com/2013/10/penny-slider-card-tutorial.html

Last week's WeCraft Cards Wednesday Challenge was called Silly Face. I decided to make a sweet card for a little friend that likes Ladybugs. Am thinking that she'll get a kick out of this brightly colored shape card.
