Sunshine and Sweetness

A friend recently gave me two  6x6 paper packets of fun summer prints. I used one of them to make this card that features a great image from Little Scraps of Heaven (LCOH). Was fun to color the little bear and beach ball with my Spectrum Noir markers. To match the Sketch in the current LSOH challenge I placed a beach border from Whimsie Doodles across the center of the page, added a rectangle of vellum behind the beach bear plus cut a few clouds out of white paper scraps to match the sketch. The final touch was to add the sentiment, a freebie from www.winkwinkink.com
PS Little Scraps of Heaven is having a sale through the end of June. All their cut images are just $1  (littlescrapsofheavendesigns.com ) and their sister site- LSOH Digi Designs is offering 60% off all of their images through the end of June (lshdigidesigns.com) Just a few deals you might want to check out!

Decided to make another card for the current Paper Smooches Color Challenge. This time I used their freebie image of a sweet smiling sun and a matching sentiment (another freebie, I just changed the font color to dark yellow-orange.)  The other colors I used on my card were sunshine, orange red and azure. Used another sheet of patterned paper from a 6x6 paper booklet to help the card go together quickly. Easy Peasy!
The sunglasses are from-clipartpanda.com/clipart_images/black-eye-glasses-clip-art-2368147
I changed the color to blue by copying the image, pasting into a Word document, selecting 'format' then 'color'. There are many color options, but I chose blue to match the color challenge.)

I recently won a Cute Card Thursday challenge and had fun picking out images from a company that is new to me. Named Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez, the images are just that- CUTE! And there are many cute freebies available on the site, too. I used one of these freebies to make a baby card that I need this weekend. Haven't made a shape card for a while, so created a template for an A2 sized card. The little tag is from Lili of the Valley's sentiment tag set and the inside sentiment is a free digi from papercraftsmag.com/content_downloads/WelcomeBaby.jpg

(I gave the little beauty a crown because she  just needed some bling!)
