Friends!

The Paper Shelters current challenge is called "Add some metal". I used the cute little cyborg for my image, making him bright and bold with shades of gray and red. He makes me happy, so the sentiment on the inside is appropriate both to the sentiment… and to the person that will receive the card- one of my amazing staff who organized a big event that we are hosting tonight. Am also entering it into several other challenges, including a brand-new one for me at Outlawz.

This card is for an entry into another challenge at Outlawz. A monthly challenge utilizing a free image. This month's free image from Anne's Digital Art is called "Catch of the Day." I had fun coloring the image with Spectrum Noir markers, and adding it to the card using the layout from the current Sketch Saturday. I used a scrap from an old South Dakota map for the background, and some fun fibers in place of ribbon. The mossy green colored fibers resemble the weeds that usually captured, and often ate, my bait and bobbers whenever I went fishing as a child.
