I picked up a wonderful paper pack from Not2Shabby
last summer and used it to make watermelon cards with a template I found on
Pinterest. (The slices were so easy and fun to make that I made them in 7 sizes!)
I found this final slice when decluttering, so am putting it to use to make a lip
gloss (gift) holder for a teen friend who LOVES watermelon (if you look closely, you'll notice that it's also
the flavor of the lipgloss!)
I’m entering this card into several
challenges, including
Park Hopping-My Happy Place (This is one of my favorite challenges and has helped me to develop a bucket list of parks I want to visit before I…um… kick the bucket! I googled
“Theme Parks with Watermelon” and found one that sounds like fun. Wild Adventures in GA has a Watermelon Eating
Contest every summer, and even the animals that live there enjoy the sweet
treat. See a photo HERE!)Supplies:
· Watermelon slices made with Not2Shabby 6x6 paper pack (Watercolor
Cuties)
· Template and instructions for making Watermelon slices found HERE
· Heart-shaped seeds were added to
the watermelon with a Sharpie Permanent black marker and
Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen
·

available, but if you search “Free Printable- one in a melon” there are many
others to chose from!)
