I’ve
always appreciated Sherry West’s whimsical artwork, and had built quite a
collection while serving as one of Sherry’s DTs when she was active on FB.
These days Sherry generously offers them through challenge sponsorship, which she
is doing this month for the Outlawz Progressive Challenge. I
had fun turning this sweet digi into a birthday card to enter into the Passion
for Markers Challenge “For a Child”. I
dressed the sweet little miss in a flouncy light pastel dress and bows, and perched
her and a lovable green peeper upon a ledge of rocks. The inside sentiment is embellished with a sprinkling
of glittery stars!
An added note, although not updated
regularly, an assortment of Sherry’s coloring pages are available on her
FB page HERE .
Just type Free or Freebies in the search link to access them. Supplies:
·
Background of Rocks and a rustic building- upcycled from an old calendar page
·
Digi from Sherry West Art, sponsor of this months Progressive Challenge. (Sherry
no longer sells digis, but she does have a nice line of clear stamp sets
available at Stampaddicts.)
·
Colored with Spectrum Noir Classique

I attended the Card Maker Success Summit this past March
and was thrilled that Kit and Clowder’s Alyce Keegan was one of the presenters
and provided a free worksheet named “Unicorn Mail.” The sweet little Unicorn
was easy to color and I especially love her rainbow mane and tail, which became
radiant with the help of a Sakura Gelly Roll Stardust Gel Pen.

Color Board (or Rainbow)
This card features a precolored striped mug filled
to the top and above with a warm holiday treat! I love all the delicate artwork
in the item, the tiny snowflakes, candy cane, and especially the R&W sprinkles!
I perched it atop snowflake-patterned paper, and added a stamped snowflake,
and four pretty snowflakes cut from a sheet of window clings that my Mom always
loved to use each Christmas!
I’m entering this card into several
challenges including
the ABC Christmas
Challenge- ('P is for Pastel
Colours’ - my card features several soft shades of blue), the Time Out (I was inspired by the
coffee and the blue background in the inspiration photo, plus the brown/blue color combo), and the Coffee Loving Paper Crafters/Caffeinated Christmas
Card Challenge (coffee and winter/Christmas theme)
(An added
note- STAMPlorations
artist/owner Shery Russ was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic breast
cancer several years ago. Her shop remained open but in a limited capacity. I
just checked, and it appears that they are back (or almost back) to normal! Ya!! Stamps (clear and
digital), Dies, Paper Goods, Clear Stickers, Stencils and Masks, Outlet (items at 50%-80% off!), and Mystery Grab Bags are all available. They
are shipping internationally, and are offering 10% off all orders!) They also carry a nice assortment of Christian-themed items. Supplies:
·
Ephemera- From a Stamplorations assorted set (Winter Mugs)
·
Front Sentiment from a Beccy’s Place Digi set that is sadly no longer available. (Business recently changed to clear stamps/wholesale only)

I received this Simple Treat Box file at the Card
Maker Success Summit, which I attended this past March. I traced the Easter
themed one onto pretty gold-patterned kraft cardstock, cute, scored, and folded
it into this pretty box. I added a Mothers Day sentiment but it is perfect for
so many occasions!
Supplies:
·
YouTube with link to tutorial page and link to purchase the Simple Easter
Treat Box and can be found HERE
