As the
month is flying past, I spent some time yesterday making a few more cards for
the Coffee Loving Paper Crafters/Caffeinated Christmas Card
Challenge.
This is the first of them. It went together very quickly using items
from several paper packs in my stash. Actually, because it is truly one of the
quickest cards I’ve ever made, I’m also going to enter it into the current ABC
Christmas Challenge. ‘Q is for Quick’ (If you follow my blog, you’ll know my cards usually include lots of coloring, fussy-cutting, and embellishing, often all three! This card has no coloring, one embellishment after I fussy-cut
one little coffee mug with its steam wisps, I slipped it behind the green
bow, after cutting a few slits with an Exacto blade into the paper.)
Supplies:
· Paper with Coffee Bean and Coffee Cup images-
Newtons Nook paper pad (Coffee House Stories)
·
Candy Cane JOY- from a Christmas/Winter paper pack purchased at JoAnnes
Crafts
·
Sookwang double-sided tape- Available from several sources on the web.
·
Peppermint candy patterned paper, other
misc. items and tools from my stash.

I had
fun making this fun card for the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers (BYSHC)
monthly challenge on FB using an adorable digi from Sweet November Stamps plus assorted
items from my stash. Looking at it makes me miss our beloved Springer Spaniel
who brought love, cuddles, and lots of laughter to our lives for 13 years. He
loved Christmas, mainly because he always loved it when I did any baking. The
reason? I’m not a very good baker, and any of my “oopsies” became dog treats. To
him, seeing me spend a few hours in the kitchen meant treats for a week!
Supplies:
·
Digi- Sweet November Stamps (Christmas Scrappy)
·
Colored with Spectrum Noir Classique
markers, Sakura Gelly Roll white & silver gel pens
·
Sentiments- from a Beccy’s Place Digi set that is sadly, no longer available. (Business recently changed to clear stamps/wholesale only)
·
Sookwang double-sided tape- Available from several sources on the web.
·
Patterned papers, all other misc. items and tools from my stash.

Still making Back to School
cards for challenges, and also to share with loved ones. This one is for my
great-niece, who will be an official “middle schooler” at the end of this
month! She is excited, but a bit anxious. So… wanted to just remind her how
amazing she is! I used mostly items from my stash.
I also used some wonderful digi images that are sadly no longer
available. It seems like businesses are closing so often these days that I can’t
even keep track of them. Some made the change by choice (change in business
plan, format of products, etc.), others have closed due to family health
issues, fatigue in fighting against the blatant theft of their designs by Temu,
Shein and other unethical companies, or for other reasons. My heart goes out to
them… and I miss them more than I can say!
Supplies:
·
Digi- Stack of Books from a
Beccy’s Place Digi set that is sadly, no longer available. (Business recently changed to clear stamps/wholesale only) I did find a free stack of precolored books digi (plus several other freebies)
at WinkWinkInk HERE
·
Digi- Time for Tea Designs (Reading
Girl) Shop on Etsy shop is currently “not selling”
·
Colored with Spectrum Noir Classique
markers and Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen
· Front Sentiment-“You are Awesome (just so you know)” a freebie from TlcCreations
·
Sookwang double-sided tape- Available from several sources on the web.
·
Patterned paper, all other misc. items and tools from my stash.
