myasperations 8-12-25a

I was out of town for several days, so I’m trying to post the cards that I’d finished, but hadn’t gotten posted before my trip. So… this post includes three cards for the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge, which ends soon.

I used to make cards with Bugaboo images often, but for the last few years, I’ve tried to use digis for companies where I served as a DT. When decluttering, I found a file of Bugaboo digis printed off and ready to color. So this is the second of three cards featuring a Bugaboo image on this posting. The card is a perfect fit for the current Simon Says Challenge theme “Quite Quirky”. I have a feeling that many of the people reading this blog can relate to the sentiment!

Supplies:

·   Digi- Bugaboo Stamps (JJ-Coffee Saves Lives) Sadly company is closed.

·   Colored with Spectrum Noir Classique markers and Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen

·   Sookwang double-sided tape- Available from several sources on the web.

·   All other misc. items and tools from my stash.

I’m making cards to put into gift bags filled with handmade cards that I give for weddings, graduations, and other celebrations.  This card will go into the Christmas gift bag for a teacher at a nearby school. Their mascot is the Bulldogs, and their colors are purple and gold. Hence… my color scheme and the dog print stickers.  The fun sentiment on the front of the card also fits into the Simon Says Challenge theme.

  1. Great cards, Kathy! The one you entered over at Word Art Wednesday really caught my eye. It looks so professional, I thought it was a book cover at first! The teacher will love it. It's so fun to be able to give cards. It's like the fun gets passed around twice! And I remember Bugaboo Stamps! It's funny how you forget about things. It is so sad that they're not around anymore. Thanks so much for playing along with us again! Your stuff is so cute! :)
