Sorry, I’m posting this card late due
to health issues.
It’s the 1st of the month, so I'm sharing my DT card for the
challenge at QKR Stampede. Stop by the challenge, which is
always “Anything Goes” and several prizes are awarded. Maybe you’ll be inspired
to enter a card or two yourself?
I needed a quick card for a friend who has been a
blessing in my life. And I love how so many of the wonderful sentiments from
Eureka Stamps help me to create cards super quick. For this one, I printed the
sentiment to fill most of an A2 sized card. A portion from an upcycled card
creates a lovely card base. Easy Peasy… yet dramatic and heartfelt!
Supplies:
· Digi- Eureka
Digital Stamp (Loving
Ways ) Also available in unmounted or
cling-mounted
· Upcycled greeting
card
·

An article about the 2022 Ginormous Pumpkin Festival in Central
Wisconsin inspired this card. This
year’s winner weighed a little over 2000 pounds, so you might just need a dump
truck to transport this big ‘ol punkin! This
great digi from Scribbles Designs is perfect for the job. I wasn’t sure what to
use as a background until I found this photo in my stash. I took it many years
ago when we lived in South Dakota. Farmsteads, weathered by time and the
consistently windy prairie, were a common scene back then. So fun!

I made a few cards for the Build Your Stash Holiday
Cardmakers {BYSHC) October Sketch Challenge, but my hectic schedule didn’t allow me
time to get either of them posted until now. I really like that this sketch encourages
me to use scraps of my patterned papers, so will be saving it in my “sketches
folder” for future use. I used am adorable freebie from artist Angie Blom and had fun adding a Santa hat created with a scrap of
red cardstock plus a strip of slightly curly fur (wool?!) from my mom’s stash of
treasures that I inherited many years ago.
