One of my favorite companies is Beccy’s Place.
Artist/owner Beccy Muir introduced me to digital stamps/images (i.e. digis) nearly
a decade ago. She offers a huge number of freebie digis available on her blog (HERE)
and
also sells both clear stamps and digi sets through her on-line store (HERE). I now use digi images on most of my cards,
from many companies. But the majority are
definitely from Beccy’s Place (I just checked and currently have 176 of
Beccy’s digi sets and 81 of her individual freebies tucked safely away on my
laptop!)
Many of the sets were won over the last few years when I
participated in a challenge that Beccy hosts every November. Her 10th Annual Month of Holiday Cards Challenge is underway right now! Every day in November Beccy provides a theme (most based on the letters
of the alphabet) and invites participants to create cards for ANY holiday and
using images from ANY company. She offers several prizes on a daily and weekly
basis, for a variety of reasons, and you can participate in as many of the
days/themes as you desire. Come and join in the fun!
Since I’m on Beccy’s Contributor Team, I’m playing along
just for fun and will feature Beccy’s images and/or sentiments. I’ve had an
unexpectedly busy work schedule, so am
getting a late start this year but I hope to post often the rest of the month.
My first card features a digi and sentiments from the set named “Pumpkin and
Spice.” I printed the apple cider image onto kraft brown cardstock and colored it with alcohol markers, a white colored pencil, and a white gel pen.
I’m entering this
card into several challenges, including the Path Of Positivity Challenge “Celebrate
the Simple Things in Life”; (There is nothing as wonderful as the aroma, and taste, of hot apple cider on a cold winter
night. Ahhh, yummy! )
Supplies:
· Digi and
Sentiments- Beccy’s Place Digi Set (Pumpkin and Spice)
· Colored with Spectrum Noir Classique markers and Sakura
Gelly Roll white gel pen
· Ranger Glossy
Accents
· Plaid boxed cards-
Hobby Lobby
· Pioneer Black Photo corners- available from
several sources
· Scrap of burgundy
twine, and other items from my stash.

I made a few cards for the Build Your Stash Holiday
Cardmakers {BYSHC) October Sketch
Challenge, but my hectic schedule didn’t allow me time to post either of them. I really like that this sketch encourages me to use scraps of
my patterned papers, so will be saving it in my “sketches folder” for future
use. This card features a cute little feline, a freebie from Angie Blom. (Look closely and you’ll
see that I added a little bling-pink rhinestone heart for a perky nose!) I also added a festive touch to the collar
with a jingle bell and bow trimmed from a freebie sentiment. It's from FB
page, provided by Paulette Slater, which is a wonderful resource for vintage
digis, sentiments, junk journal pages, and freebies. (You will find the link to the
freebie in the supplies list.) An added note, Paulette just posted a bunch of new sets priced
from $0 to $11 HERE.
If you like vintage items, you need to check it out! Supplies:

Gelly Roll white gel pen
·
