Boots & Beverages

I wanted to create another card with this beautiful Digi Doodles image named “Mindy’s New Boots.” Digi Doodles current challenge is named “Flower Power” so I paired her with a flowery LOVE label from an Echo Park paper pad. A few strips of ribbon, a circle of peach vellum, and a lovely parchment vintage from Vectoria Designs pull the card together. (And added note, I received the vintage tag digi as a freebie when I joined the Vectorian Designs newsletter. Visit their website HERE to sign up.)
Supplies:
·    Digi- Digi Doodles (Mindy’s New Boots)
·    Colored with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen
·    Echo Park paper pad- Coffee (provides the LOVE sentiment)
·    Vintage Tag- Vectoria Designs (this tag is retired, but there are hundreds of options in their Etsy store)
·    Sheer black dotted swiss ribbon- JoAnne’s
·    Assorted background papers, vellum scrap and strip of deep red satin ribbon from my stash

I wanted to share a few more cards that I’m entering into the week-long Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.  The first features a cute image from Little Blue Button named “Dream Charlie.” I created the look of a wood table beneath the daydreaming beauty with a strip of brown paper and a wood grain embossing folder.  The warm gleam of gold from photo corners adds a touch of elegance to the front of the card and the sentiment inside. I'm entering this card into several challenges including Double D’s Challenge (Mug begins with "m")

Supplies:
·    Digi- “Dream Charlie” from Little Blue Button Stamps (digi appears to be retired)
·    Colored with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen
·    Woodgrain Embossing Folder - Stampin’ Up (retired)
·    Inside sentiment- Creative Fabrica (Coffee is a Hug in a Mug))
·    Assorted background papers and gold photo corners from my stash

My second card for the Coffee Lovers Blog hop features a beautiful rose-filled teapot and “Grandmas are so Special” sentiment that are wood mount stamps that I’d had since a friend and I opened a stamp store in South Dakota in the late ‘90s. One of our primary suppliers for stamps and supplies was a family-owned business named Embossing Arts. I embossed the teapot in white on vellum and colored it with alcohol inks on the backside of the vellum. The inside sentiment is computer generated.
