I
am posting a few more cards I’m entering into the week-long Coffee Lovers Blog
Hop that focuses on my favorite beverage- COFFEE!
For the first, I made a gift bag to enter the Do-Al[l]
Kreative challenge which requires a box or bag with no images/stamps. I used a corrugator
to add texture to a brown lunch bag (that had held a few yummy scones from a
neighborhood coffee shop. I was able to upcycle it because the scones had been secured
in plastic wrap.) I upcycled, folded the top down, and punched a few holes. I then made a gift tag with a phrase die from Stamplorations that I’ve had for nearly
a year but never used (so I can enter it into the NBUS (Never Before Used Schtuff)! Challenge. I adhered the die to an upcycled
scrap of a Kleenex box and attached the tag with to the git bag with a scrap of black ribbon.
Supplies:
· Die
Image- Stamplorations (Java Great Day Phrase)
·
Striped background paper- from an upcycled Kleenex box
·
Corrugator, paper punch, lunch bag, and scrap of black satin ribbon.

My second card for the Coffee Lovers Blog hop features
one of my favorite character stamps from Art Impressions named “Super Maude.” I
actually have a red rubber version that I purchased over 20 years ago, but I
checked and she is still available as one of AI’s “Golden Oldies”! I love the snarky attitude that she exudes,
and I often pair them with sentiments like the one I used for this card. I’ve
always loved that Maude has a smiley face mug, so I was excited when I found a
freebie smiley mug that I printed off and fussy-cut to add a bit of fun to the
inside sentiment!
Supplies:
·

·
Colored with Spectrum Noir alcohol
markers and Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen

My final card
this posting is a square trifold that features an adorable Elf from Digi
Doodles. The circle sentiment on the front and elf shoes on the inside are freebies, and the inside sentiment is
computer generated. After coloring the cute little elf, I decided to use some
scraps of Christmas papers to paper piece the ornaments. A bit of shading with
a grey marker and highlighting with a white gel pen gave a bit of realism to
the ornaments. I’m entering this card into several challenges including Simon
Says Monday Challenge (my card incorporates several circles plus the red
patterned paper features lime green circles and dots, which I fussy-cut and added to the back of the cutout to add some color and continuity between the card sections.)
Supplies:
·
Elf digi- Digi Doodles (Elf Gift Surpise)
·
Front sentiment (and elf shoes on the inside)- Birdscards Freebie (HERE)
