It’s the 15th of the
month, so I’m sharing my DT card for
the challenge at QKR Stampede. Stop by the
challenge, which is always “Anything Goes” and several prizes are awarded.
Maybe you’ll be inspired to enter a card or two yourself?
For this card, I used two of my favorite digital Christmas
sentiments from QKR and Eureka to compliment a wood mount Baby Jesus stamp that
I’ve had in my stash since the late ‘90’s. I embossed the stamped image with silver
EP on a silver circle tag (also from my stash.) Starry background paper, plus silver
star stickers add additional sparkle to the card.
Supplies:
·
Wood Mount Stamp- Denami Designs “Baby Jesus” (retired but have
seen on EBay)
·
Front Sentiment- QKR Stampede Digital Stamp (Merry Christmas) Also available in unmounted or cling-mounted
·
Inside Sentiment- Eureka Digital Stamp (Jesus Reason for the Season)
·
Galaxy Patterned Paper- Hobby Lobby
·
3-D Star Stickers- Hobby Lobby
·
Pioneer Black Photo corners-

·
All other items from my stash.

Challenge- Festive Friday Since I’m a DT for Sheepski
(sponsor), I’m entering just for fun!
I haven’t
entered a card into a challenge at The Paper Shelter (TPS) for a while, but
just had to use this TPS digi for a card that is en route to a friend who
loves Autumn as much as I do!
Using a free Word program named Paint.net (link is in my supplies list) I
was able to create this scene by layering the beautiful digi onto the patterned
background (both from the digi.) I printed off another copy of the beautiful
bench sitter on white cardstock that I colored, fussy-cut and adhered to the scene
with a few small strips of foam tape. A few glittery leaf stickers add the
surprise BLING! So fun!
I’m entering this card
into several challenges including Leigh SB Designs “ Falling Leaves”;
Incy Wincy Designs “Encourage a Friend“; (This month’s
challenge is a tribute to STAMPlorations artist/owner Shery Russ who was diagnosed
earlier this year with Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer with metastasis to the
right pelvis. You can learn about her journey to recovery, and help Shery and
her family, by purchasing from STAMPlorations.
