I love how this sweet ‘I love u” bear
digi seems to just jump off the card when created in a mainly monochromatic color
scheme two shouts of bright red! The red
heart that embellishes the inside sentiment is cut from a scrap of red plastic file folder. (If you follow my blog, you’ll know I often use these wonderful items. Sometimes called document file folders,
they come in a pack of assorted colors and can be found in the office supply
section of most stores. They're cheaper than colored vellum and more
translucent. Punches and dies don’t work on these sheets, but they are easy to
fussy cut with a sharp pair of scissors. And you can use templates or stencils
to trace shapes onto them with a permanent fine line marker.)

#775: Use Red and/or Pink
The
look of pure joy on this sweet little kitten's face makes me smile and also
makes me think of my sweet mom. She was the most kind-hearted person you could
ever meet, and our home was regularly blessed with stray fur babies that her
six children brought home. My trusty white gel pen helped me add a
fluffy/scruffy texture to the little cuties' fur.
I’m entering this card
into several challenges including Path Of Positivity Challenge: Sharing
a Valentine's Card with Someone Who Won't Expect It (I made this card for my
wonderful dentist and her staff… plus provided them with a gift bag with a few
dozen Valentines Cards they could share with friends and family. They were thrilled!)

I’m getting a late start on making coffee-themed
cards for this month's Coffee Loving PaperCrafters/Caffeinated
Christmas Card Challenge which requires the that hearts are added into our
creation. I also features a lovely coffee cup from Verve stamps, plus all other
items are from my stash! (Actually, I made a similar card years
ago, and while organizing my craft room found a box with partial cards,
including all the pieces needed to make this card… except for the glittery pink
hearts, which I hand-cut in assorted sizes. Easy Peasey!)
Supplies:
·
Coffee Cup Digi- From CoffeePleaseDigiSet from Verve Stamps (sadly shop
is no longer in business)
·
Digi was printed on colored
paper.
·
Coffee steam cut from scraps of
vellum.
·
