My first card for this post is
a cute little angel, having fun decorating winter’s trees! I created this card
to enter into several challenges, including the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers
Group {BYSHC} Spring
into Christmas 2023 Linky Party (I found this great group on FB a few years ago
and have entered their linky parties whenever I can. They offer lots of
wonderful prizes!) and Outlawz Festive Friday (I’m a bit of a traditionalist when it
comes to Christmas. Because my favorite color combination
is red and green I did some fussy-cutting to create this scene, trimming
the little angel from her task in the original digi of stringing lights on
clouds. to topping a tree with a shiny star. I am sharing a pic of the original
digi so that you can see this change PLUS you can see the amazing background
from the set that I can’t wait to use on a future card. (I love the silhouette of Santa and his crew in the sky!) I often interchange the
wonderful assortment of decorated backgrounds that TPS includes with the sets,
using them in so many different ways!)

Here is an example of switching out a background from a TPS
digi set to create a card with a look that is very different. This time I printed just the
background in shades of grey (selected that option on my printer.) I like the
grey and green color combo on the finished card, with just a little bit of
turquoise and teal green bling fitting around the happy frog. An added note-
the frog digi is a free digi from the Papercrafter website. It is part of a set
that includes, this little guy plus a llama, cow, sheep, and cat, with matching
sentiment puns! Find the link in the supplies list below.)

This last card reflects our recent weather across the region,
which is bringing signs of spring as the grass is turning green and the trees
are beginning to bud. Yay! I’m entering this card into several challenges
including Park Hopping-My Happy Place (The cute little fairy reminds me of
Tinkerbell, which makes me think of Disneyland, where Tink resides in Pixie
Hollow!)
